
Peanut Butter Apple Crisp

Position rack in centre of oven, then preheat to 425°F. Spray an 8x8-in baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.

Combine apples, 2 tbsp sugar and cinnamon in prepared dish. Toss to coat.

Combine oats, flour and remaining 4 tbsp sugar in a medium bowl. Cut in peanut butter and margarine with a pastry cutter (or two knives) until mixture is size of small peas. Sprinkle crumbs evenly over apples. Cover dish with foil.

Bake 20 minutes. Remove foil. Continue baking until apples are tender and topping is crisp and golden, about 20 more minutes.

Serve warm or at room temperature with ice cream, if desired.
