    Whisk together egg and milk in a wide shallow bowl; set aside. Cut bacon strips in half and crisp according to package directions. Place cheese on one slice of white bread; top with crisped bacon then the other slice of bread. Dip sandwich into egg mixture and press gently. Carefully flip sandwich, press lightly until all the egg is absorbed. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the butter. Fry 2-3 minutes per side or until golden and crispy.
