Homemade Meatball Sliders Recipe
Position rack in centre of oven, then preheat to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil.
Mix beef, onion, 1/4 cup of the dressing, bread crumbs and egg in a large bowl just until combined. Shape into 8 meatballs. Place onto prepared sheet.
Bake until an instant-read thermometer inserted in the centre reads 160°F, 26 to 28 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat a large frying pan over medium. Add 1 tbsp of the dressing, then peppers and red onions. Cook, stirring occasionally, until onions begin to caramelize and peppers are tender, 5 to 10 minutes.
Place meatballs on bottom halves of buns. Top with vegetable mixture and remaining dressing, then cover with tops of buns.
