Directions

    Position rack in centre of oven, then preheat to 350°F. Lightly spray a baking sheet with oil.

    Unroll crescent dough on your counter. Cut in half into 2 long rectangles. Press and gently stretch each piece into a 12x4-in rectangle, firmly pressing down on perforations to seal any holes.

    Sprinkle cheese and tomatoes evenly over each rectangle. Arrange basil leaves evenly overtop.

    Beginning at one of the shorter ends, roll up to enclose filling. Press edge to seal roll. Use a serrated knife to cut each roll into 8 slices. Arrange, cut-side-down, on prepared sheet.

    Bake until edges are golden brown, about 15 to 20 minutes. Serve immediately.
