Chocolate-Pecan Pie Recipe

A rich and decadent pie—perfect for the holiday season. This pie comes together in just 15 minutes (plus bake time) with a simple shortcut: a pre-made pie shell. This rich and buttery chocolate-pecan pie can be served warm or at room temperature, but either way, it will always taste good with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

    Position rack in bottom of oven, then preheat to 350°F.

    Combine condensed milk, chocolate chips and butter in a medium saucepan set over medium. Cook, stirring constantly, until chocolate melts and sauce is smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.

    Whisk eggs, vanilla and salt in a large bowl. While whisking constantly (to prevent eggs from curdling), slowly pour in hot chocolate mixture. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie shell.

    Bake until filling is set, about 40 to 45 minutes. Transfer to rack to cool. Serve warm or cold.
