Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie
Position rack in bottom of oven, then preheat to 350°F.
Combine chocolate chips, butter and condensed milk in a medium saucepan set over medium. Cook, stirring constantly, until chocolate melts and sauce is smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.
Whisk eggs, vanilla and salt in a large bowl. While whisking constantly (to prevent eggs from curdling), slowly pour in hot chocolate mixture. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie shell.
Bake until filling is set, about 40 to 45 minutes. Transfer to rack to cool. Serve warm or cold.
