Saucy Honey-Garlic Ribs

Saucy Honey-Garlic Ribs

1-hour 10-Minute recipe Serves 4
The perfect honey-garlic ribs recipe is all about the technique. Cooking the ribs low and slow in a pot of water until tender makes your time in front of the grill all about perfecting the rack: adding colour and reducing the sauce to a sticky-sweet glaze. Simply baste, flip and repeat until ready to eat. (Don't forget extra napkins.)

Combine ribs with enough water to cover in a large pot. Bring to a boil over medium-high, then reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer, covered, until meat is fork-tender, about 45 to 60 minutes. Transfer ribs to a platter. Discard liquid.

Preheat barbecue to medium. Brush ribs with one-third of sauce. Oil grill, then barbecue ribs, with lid open. Turn and baste ribs often with remaining sauce in jar, until ribs are well-glazed and heated through, 3 to 4 minutes per side.

Transfer to a cutting board. Slice into one- or two-rib portions.
