Spicy Grilled Asparagus
Tip: No barbecue? No problem. Heat up a grill pan and grill over medium heat until asparagus is tender and lightly charred.
Preheat barbecue to medium (300°F to 350°F).
Trim and discard tough ends of asparagus.
Combine oil, red pepper flakes, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper in a large shallow dish. Add asparagus, turning spears to coat completely. Set aside to marinate 15 minutes.
Barbecue asparagus, turning once, until grill marks form and asparagus is tender, about 5 to 7 minutes. Transfer to a platter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
