Spice-Rubbed Flank Steak
Tip: Let meat sit for five minutes after grilling so the delicious juices don't get lost when it's time to slice the steaks.
Preheat barbecue to medium-high.
Combine oil, garlic powder, cumin, salt and cayenne in a small bowl. Rub oil mixture all over both sides of steak.
Oil grill. Barbecue steak, with lid closed, for 4 minutes. Flip, then continue barbecuing until an instant-read thermometer inserted into thickest part of steak reads 145°F for medium-rare, 3 to 5 more minutes. Transfer steak to a cutting board and let stand 5 minutes, then thinly slice across the grain. Transfer to a platter along with any juices.
