
Garlic & Rosemary Mashed Potatoes

An easy way to dress up basic mashed potatoes is by using herbs. Here, we've added rosemary and parsley. You can also try thyme, tarragon or sage with great results. Tip: When draining potatoes, let them steam in the colander for a few minutes before returning the pot. (Less excess moisture leads to fluffier potatoes.)

Cover potatoes with water in a pot set over high. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer, covered, until potatoes are fork-tender, about 10 to 15 minutes. Drain potatoes and return to pot.

Add milk and butter to potatoes. Mash to your desired consistency. Sprinkle with salt, parsley, garlic powder, rosemary and black pepper. Stir until combined.
