Broccoli & Ginger Beef Recipe
Mash beef stock, cornstarch, 1 tsp sesame oil, brown sugar, ginger and red pepper flakes in a small bowl with a fork until blended. Toss steak with half of beef stock mixture in a medium bowl.
Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high. Add oil, then half of steak. Cook, stirring often, until no longer pink, about 3 to 5 minutes. Transfer steak to a plate. Repeat with steak and transfer to same plate.
Add remaining beef stock mixture, hot water and broccoli to same pan. Cook, covered, until broccoli is tender-crisp, about 3 minutes. Reduce heat to low. Return steak to pan and heat through. Stir in remaining 1 tsp sesame oil. Serve with hot cooked rice, if desired.
