
Cheese Curd-Stuffed Burgers Recipe

Preheat barbecue to medium. Line a baking sheet with foil.

Combine cheese curds, parsley and oil in a small bowl. Set aside.

Whisk together egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, Dijon, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Crumble in beef and stir until combined.

Gently shape into 8 balls. Press a deep well into the centre of a ball with your thumb. Divide cheese curd mixture among wells. Gently pinch beef over curd mixture to seal and shape into a patty, about 1/2-inch thick. Place on prepared sheet and repeat with remaining ingredients.

Oil grill. Barbecue burgers, lid closed and turning halfway, until burgers are cooked through, 10 to 12 minutes.

Barbecue peameal bacon, until cooked through, about 1 minute per side.

Stack burgers, peameal, tomatoes and lettuce between buns.
