Green Beans With Toasted Almonds
Fill a medium saucepan with water and set over high. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium. Add green beans. Gently boil until tender-crisp, about 6 minutes. Drain.
Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium-low. Add margarine and garlic. Cook, stirring constantly, until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Stir in green beans, salt and black pepper until heated through, about 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice, then sprinkle with almonds.
