Preheat barbecue to medium. Whisk egg with mustard, Worcestershire and salt in a large bowl. Season with fresh pepper. Crumble in beef and gently mix together. Shape into 6 burgers, each about 1-in. thick. Using your thumb, make a shallow depression in centre of each. This helps the patties keep their shape during cooking. Oil grill. Barbecue burgers, lid closed, until cooked through, 6 to 8 min per side.
