Herb & Garlic Grilled Steak Recipe
Stir mayonnaise, basil, mustard, thyme, black pepper and garlic in a large bowl. Reserve one-third of mixture in a small bowl.
Place steaks in large bowl with mayonnaise mixture. Coat all over steaks. Cover and let stand at room temperature, 30 to 60 minutes.
Preheat grill to medium.
Oil grill. Remove steaks from mayonnaise mixture. Barbecue steaks for 4 to 5 minutes. Flip, then spread with reserved mayonnaise mixture. Continue grilling until an instant-read thermometer inserted into thickest part of steak reads 145°F, for medium-rare, about 4 to 5 more minutes.
