Chipotle-Maple Chicken Thighs Recipe
Combine tomato sauce, maple syrup, chipotle peppers, vinegar, adobo sauce, garlic and salt in a blender.
Puree mixture until smooth. Transfer to a large bowl. Add chicken and toss to combine. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 to 45 minutes.
Preheat barbecue to medium-high. Remove chicken from marinade and discard marinade.
Oil grill. Barbecue chicken, lid closed, until an instant-read thermometer inserted into centre of thigh reads 165°F, 10 to 12 minutes per side.
