Grilled Teriyaki Steak & Vegetables
Tip: Serve with rice to make it a stir-fry dinner, or place on toasted baguette as a savoury lunch or dinner sandwich.
Preheat barbecue to medium-high.
Combine stock, onion, brown sugar, oil, soy sauce and garlic in a medium bowl.
Rub half of stock mixture on both sides of steak. Set aside. Toss vegetables with remaining stock mixture in a large bowl.
Oil grill. Barbecue steak and vegetables until an instant-read thermometer inserted into thickest part of steak reads 145°F, for medium-rare, 4 to 6 minutes per side. Transfer to a cutting board and let rest 5 minutes.
Thinly slice steak across the grain and serve with grilled vegetables.
