Grilled Tomato Salsa Recipe
Preheat barbecue to medium-high.
Halve tomatoes crosswise. Brush 1 tbsp oil all over tomatoes and onions. Sprinkle with cumin.
Oil grill. Barbecue tomatoes and onions, lid closed, until charred but not mushy, about 3 to 5 minutes per side. Transfer to a cutting board and let stand until cool enough to handle.
Coarsely chop tomatoes and onions and place in a medium bowl. Stir in remaining 1 tbsp oil, vinegar, salt and black pepper. Stir in cilantro. Serve with tortilla chips.
