A classic recipe turned into an Italian-inspired sandwich with slightly bitter radicchio and provolone cheese. This veal saltimbocca sandwich recipe is sure to impress your dinner guests— and comes together in less than 20 minutes.

    Preheat grill to medium-high.

    Pat veal dry with paper towels. Arrange 2 sage leaves and 1 slice prosciutto on top of each scaloppini. Fold veal over filling and secure with a toothpick. Brush both sides of veal with 1 1/2 tbsp oil.

    Brush remaining 1 1/2 tbsp oil all over radicchio. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.

    Oil grill. Barbecue veal and radicchio until grill-marked and veal is cooked through, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.

    Remove toothpick from veal bundles. Cut radicchio in half. Layer bottom buns with provolone, veal and radicchio. Sandwich with top bun.
