Spinach & Ham Frittata Recipe

In this iron-rich frittata recipe, eggs are whisked with a secret ingredient— creamy garlic pasta sauce mix (shh!)— and poured over ham and spinach. Perfect for hosting brunch or, let’s be honest, eating the whole thing yourself before the guests even arrive. It’s that good.

    Position rack in centre of oven, then preheat to 350°F.

    Whisk sauce mix and milk in a large bowl. Whisk in eggs.

    Heat a large non-stick, oven-safe frying pan over medium. Add margarine, then ham. Cook, stirring occasionally, until browned, about 4 minutes. Stir in spinach. Cook until wilted, about 1 to 2 minutes.

    Pour egg mixture into pan. Cook until eggs begin to set, about 5 minutes. Sprinkle cheese evenly overtop. Transfer to oven.

    Bake until frittata is set and cheese is golden-brown, about 15 minutes.
