Herbed Green Beans Recipe
Tip: Small, thin green beans don't take as long to boil. Scoop one out of the pot for a taste-test if you're not sure whether they're fully cooked. (You're looking for a tender-crisp crunch.)
Cover green beans with water in a medium saucepan set over medium-high. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer until tender-crisp, about 4 to 6 minutes. Drain and return to saucepan.
Add vinegar, oil, rosemary, thyme, salt and black pepper to beans. Heat over medium until warmed through, about 1 to 2 minutes.
