When green beans are bountiful in your garden or at the local farm stand, prepare this easy green bean recipe. Fresh rosemary, thyme, oil and vinegar are all it takes to make this vegetable a star dish at the dinner table!
Tip: Small, thin green beans don't take as long to boil. Scoop one out of the pot for a taste-test if you're not sure whether they're fully cooked. (You're looking for a tender-crisp crunch.)

Cover green beans with water in a medium saucepan set over medium-high. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer until tender-crisp, about 4 to 6 minutes. Drain and return to saucepan.

Add vinegar, oil, rosemary, thyme, salt and black pepper to beans. Heat over medium until warmed through, about 1 to 2 minutes.
