Holiday Cranberry, Pear and Apple Crisp
Position rack in centre of oven, then preheat to 350°F.
Combine apples, pears, cranberries, granulated sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl. Toss to combine. Scrape fruit mixture into a 10-in round baking dish.
Stir flour, oats, brown sugar, wheat bran, ginger, cardamom and allspice in a medium bowl. Cut in margarine with a pastry cutter (or two knives) until mixture is size of small peas. Sprinkle over fruit.
Bake until fruit is tender and bubbling around edges, and crumble is deep golden brown, about 40 minutes. (If topping is browning too quickly, cover loosely with aluminum foil.)
