Italian Sausage Stuffing
Make it a full holiday dinner and serve Italian sausage stuffing with classic roast turkey, glazed carrots, creamy mashed potatoes and green beans with toasted almonds.
Position rack in centre of oven, then preheat to 400°F. Spray a 9x13-in baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium. Add sausage meat. Cook, stirring occasionally, breaking up meat into smaller pieces, until no longer pink, about 6 minutes. Transfer sausage to a plate, leaving any fat in pan.
Add onion, celery and carrots to pan. Cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are golden, about 5 minutes. Stir in water and stock until dissolved. Stir in stuffing mix, parsley and cooked sausage. Transfer stuffing into prepared dish. Cover dish with foil.
Bake 15 minutes. Remove foil. Continue baking until top is golden, about 15 more minutes.
