Combine pork, onion, cilantro, salt and black pepper in a large bowl. Form into 12 small patties, about 1/2-in thick, then arrange on a baking sheet. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Preheat barbecue to medium.

Oil grill. Barbecue burgers, brushing occasionally with 1/3 cup honey-garlic sauce, until an instant-read thermometer inserted into thickest part of burger reads 160°F, about 6 minutes per side.

Grill buns, cut-side-down, until toasted, about 1 to 2 minutes. Brush cut sides of buns with remaining 2 tbsp honey-garlic sauce. Layer bottom buns with lettuce, patties, pickles, onion and tomatoes. Sandwich with top buns.
