For moist, fast and flavourful burgers, combine fresh ground beef with onion soup mix and grill or broil for a meal that's ready in less than 20 minutes.

Tip: The shallow indent in your burger patty helps it to maintain its shape and cook evenly on the grill.

    Preheat barbecue to medium.

    Combine ground beef and soup mix in a medium bowl. Mix until just combined. Divide into 6 portions. Shape each into a patty. Press a shallow indent in centre of each with your thumb.

    Oil grill. Barbecue burgers, with lid closed, until cooked through and an instant-read thermometer inserted into burger reads 160°F, about 5 to 6 minutes per side. Serve burgers in buns with you favourite burger fixings.
