
Family-Friendly Grain Bowls Recipe

Position rack in centre of oven, then preheat to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.

Dry chick peas well with a tea towel or paper towels, then toss with oil, garlic powder, salt and black pepper on prepared sheet.

Bake until chick peas are crisp and golden, but still soft on the inside, about 20 to 25 minutes.

Meanwhile, cook quinoa following package directions. Fluff cooked quinoa with a fork, then set aside chick peas and quinoa to cool slightly, about 10 minutes.

Divide quinoa amongst four bowls (or lunch containers.) Drizzle with dressing, then top with vegetables and chick peas.
