Mini Salami Cream Cheese Balls Recipe

This salami cream cheese balls recipe will look beautiful on a serving plate at your next holiday gathering. Serve balls and fresh basil atop a cracker as an appetizer as guests arrive. Just be sure to tuck some aside for a well-deserving host— they won't last long.

    Heat a large frying pan over medium-high. Add half of the salami, and cook, stirring frequently, until crispy, about 4 minutes. Remove from pan with a slotted spoon to a paper towel-lined plate.

    Combine remaining half of the salami, cream cheese, mozzarella, green onions, almonds and pepper in a large bowl. Stir until evenly combined. Form cream cheese mixture into 12 balls.

    Roll each cheese ball into crispy salami to coat. Refrigerate until firm, about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

  • 4

    To serve, place a leaf of basil on each melba cracker, then top with a cheese ball.
