Orange-Cranberry Oatmeal Recipe

In this orange-cranberry oatmeal recipe, oats are actually cooked in orange juice to saturate your breakfast with that tangy yet sweet citrus flavour. Top with your favourite fixings— dried cranberries, toasted walnuts, yogurt and more!

Directions

    Combine orange juice, water, salt and cinnamon in a medium saucepan. Place over high and bring to a gentle boil.

    Stir in oats and 1/2 cup of the cranberries. Return to a boil, then reduce heat to medium. Cook, stirring occasionally, until most of the liquid is absorbed, 5 minutes. Let stand until thickened slightly.

    Divide oatmeal into four serving bowls. Top each serving with 1/4 cup of the yogurt, 1 tbsp of the walnuts and 1 tbsp of the cranberries.
