Oven-Roasted Homemade Burger Recipe

No grill? No problem! Oven roasting seals in the juices of these simple patties (it's the best burger recipe for the oven). Plus they're quick and easy to make, getting an extra boost of flavour from beef stock and a splash of Worcestershire. Serve with your choice of toppings, from fresh red onion rings to melted cheese, lettuce or bacon.

    Position rack in centre of oven, then preheat to 475°F

    Line a baking sheet with foil. Spread salt over foil, then place a cooling rack overtop. (The salt sops up the oil that drizzles from the burgers so you don't end up with heavy smoke from the high temperature.)

    Break up Knorr Homestyle Stock with a fork in a medium bowl. Add beef, Worcestershire and pepper. Mix until well combined. Shape meat mixture into 6 burger patties. Arrange on cooling rack. #Bake until an instant-read thermometer inserted into burgers reads 160°F, about 15 minutes.

    Layer patties, onion rings, cheese and bacon bits between toasted buns.
