Simple Steak Rub Recipe
Crumble bouillon cube in a small bowl. Add 1 tbsp oil and mash with a fork until a paste is formed.
Rub paste onto steaks.
Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high. Add remaining 1 tbsp oil, then steaks. Cook until an instant-read thermometer inserted into thickest part of steak reads 145°F, for medium-rare, about 3 to 5 minutes per side. Transfer steak to a cutting board, let rest 5 minutes, then thinly slice to serve.
