Grilled Portobello Mushroom Pitas Recipe
Preheat barbecue to medium.
Combine dressing, cheese, basil, garlic and 1/4 tsp salt in a medium bowl.
Oil grill. Barbecue mushroom caps and onions until vegetables are tender, about 5 to 6 minutes per side. Season with remaining 1 pinch salt and black pepper.
Arrange pita breads on serving plates. Spread 2 tbsp dressing mixture on each pita, then top with lettuce, grilled mushroom caps, tomato and grilled onion slices. Dollop remaining mayonnaise mixture on top.
