With just 15 minutes of prep, you have an amazing summer pasta salad perfect for weeknight dinners, potluck barbecues or park picnics. Tip: Refrigerate for 1 hour to overnight before serving to let the flavours infuse through the whole dish.

    Whisk oil, vinegar, green onion, Parmesan, Dijon, basil, salt and black pepper in a large bowl until combined. Set aside.

    Cook orzo in a medium saucepan following package directions. Drain and rinse under cold water.

    Add cold orzo, chicken, carrot, zucchini, tomato and bell pepper to dressing. Toss to coat. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
