Position rack in centre of oven, then preheat to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment.

Stir cake mix, eggs and butter in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips. Roll into 1 tbsp-sized balls and arrange 2-in apart on prepared sheets.

Bake until lightly browned around edges, about 12 to 14 minutes. Transfer sheet to a rack to cool completely.
