Steak Fajitas Recipe
Combine steak strips with 1 tbsp lime juice and half of garlic in a medium bowl. Season with black pepper. Toss to coat.
Heat a large non-stick frying pan over high. Add 2 tsp oil, then steak. Cook, stirring occasionally, until browned, about 2 minutes. Transfer to a medium bowl.
Reduce heat to medium-high. Add remaining 1 tsp oil to same pan. Add bell peppers and onion. Cook, stirring occasionally, until tender and lightly golden. Stir in remaining garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Stir roast gravy mix with water, cumin and remaining 1 tbsp lime juice in a medium bowl until combined. Add to vegetables. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer 2 minutes. Return steak and any juices to pan. Simmer until steak is heated through, about 1 minute. Sprinkle with cilantro.
Serve steak and vegetables in tortillas.
