Lentils and fresh vegetables are slow cooked with tomato paste and chicken bouillon flavoured with curry for a stew that goes great with basmati rice.

Prep: 15-minute | Cook: 4-hour

    Combine all ingredients except kale in slow cooker. Stir in 3-1/2 cups water.

    Cover and cook on low heat for 8 to 10 hours or on high heat for 4 to 6 hours until vegetables are tender.

    Stir in kale. As an alternative to kale, try baby spinach, arugula or watercress.
