Position rack in centre of oven, then preheat to 350°F.

Combine beef, soup mix, eggs, bread crumbs and ketchup in a large bowl. Using your hands, mix until just combined.

Transfer meat mixture to a 9x13-in baking dish. Shape into a long loaf.

Bake until an instant-read thermometer inserted into meatloaf reads 160°F, about 1 hour. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
