    Place pomegranate juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, allspice, vanilla and orange extract in a medium saucepan. Place saucepan over medium and cook until sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally.

    Stir in pears, apricots and raisins. Simmer until raisins are plump and liquid is slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Spoon into a serving bowl.

    Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
