Split Pea Soup
Tip: For extra-smooth soup, blitz soup with an immersion blender before serving.
Heat a large saucepan over medium. Add oil, then onion, carrot and potato. Cook, stirring often, for 10 minutes.
Add split peas, broth, bay leaf, dill, garlic powder and black pepper. Bring to a boil over high, then reduce heat to low.
Simmer, covered, until split peas are tender and soup has thickened, about 1 ½ hours. Remove bay leaf.
If desired, use an immersion blender to blend the soup until smooth.
Try delivery in 2 hours or less*
