Smoky BBQ Burger
Preheat barbecue to medium.
Combine ground beef, Bar-B-Q sauce, Stubb’s Beef Marinade, liquid smoke and Stubb’s Beef Spice Rub in a large bowl. Divide into 6 portions. Shape each into a patty. Press a shallow indent in centre of each with your thumb.
Oil grill. Barbecue burgers, with lid closed, until cooked through and an instant-read thermometer inserted into burger reads 160°F, about 6 to 7 minutes per side.
Meanwhile, add onion slices and buns to grill. Barbecue until onions are lightly charred and soft and buns are toasted.
Layer burgers, cheese, bacon, crispy fried onions and grilled onion between buns.
