Steak Tacos Recipe
Sprinkle steaks with 1 pinch salt, black pepper and cumin. Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high. Add steaks. Cook until an instant-read thermometer inserted into thickest part of steak reads 145°F, for medium-rare, about 3 to 5 minutes per side. Transfer steak to a cutting board and thinly slice.
Using a mandolin or knife, thinly shave cabbage on a cutting board.
Gently mash avocados with lime juice and remaining 1 pinch salt in a medium bowl.
Arrange tortillas, steak, cabbage, avocado, tomatoes and cilantro for garnish in bowls or on a platter for guests to assemble their tacos.
