1% milk
1 cup
Grated Great Value Old Cheddar Light Cheese

Grape Tomatoes

    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) Spray an 8-cup (2 liter) baking dish with non-stick canola oil spray (if finishing in the oven with optional topping.) In a large pot of boiling water, prepare macaroni according to package directions. Drain, rinse in cold water, return to the pot, and set aside. While the macaroni is cooking, prepare the cheese sauce. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir through flour and cook, stirring constantly, for 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk. Bring to a gentle boil, whisking constantly, then continue to simmer for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir through grated cheese until melted. Season with salt to taste. Pour prepared sauce over the cooked macaroni. Add halved tomatoes and bacon; stir well to combine. Enjoy as is or transfer mixture to prepared baking dish if making the topping. For the breadcrumb topping: Melt butter in a non-stick skillet over medium-high. Add breadcrumbs and sauté for 2-3 minutes or until lightly toasted. Sprinkle over macaroni mixture. Bake in center of oven for 20-25 minutes or until bubbling and golden. Rest 5 minutes before serving.
