This two-step cheesy casserole is so good, it may convert the Brussels sprouts haters at your table.

    Position rack in centre of oven, then preheat to 450°F.

    Combine soup, milk, flour, lemon juice, thyme, garlic powder, salt and black pepper in a 2.35-L casserole dish until smooth. Add Brussels sprouts. Toss to coat. Sprinkle with cheese.

    Bake until golden and sprouts are tender-crisp, about 25 minutes. Sprinkle with chives. Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
