Easy Spaghetti & Meatballs

The trick to this easy spaghetti & meatballs recipe is in the simmer. The flavours come together perfectly as they slowly cook in the pasta sauce. Serve with creamy Caesar salad and garlic bread. (This part is optional, but highly recommended.)

    Combine beef, beef broth, Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, egg and garlic in a large bowl. Shape into 12 meatballs.

    Place tomato sauce in a large pot. Bring to a boil over medium-high. Gently stir in meatballs, then return to a simmer.

    Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer until meatballs start to become firm, about 5 minutes. Turn meatballs gently. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until cooked through, about 15 minutes.

    Meanwhile, cook spaghetti following package directions.

    Serve meatballs over hot spaghetti. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.
