Whole-Grain Cinnamon French Toast Recipe
Whisk milk, egg substitute, brown sugar, vanilla and cinnamon in medium bowl. Set aside.
Microwave 1 tbsp margarine with maple syrup in a small microwave-safe bowl until margarine is melted, about 30 seconds.
Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium. Add 1 tbsp margarine. Swirl until melted.
Dip 4 slices bread into milk mixture. Add to pan. Cook until bottom is golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes. Flip, then continue cooking until bottom is golden brown, 2 to 3 more minutes. Repeat with remaining 1 tbsp margarine and bread.
Drizzle French toast with syrup mixture. Serve, if desired, with fresh berries.
